Structural Features: Compact modular design with integrated EMC filters and power supply. Features connector interfaces for power, motor, encoder, and communication. LED display for status and fault indication.
Working Principle: The drive uses a digital signal processor (DSP) as its control core to implement complex control algorithms. The power drive unit first rectifies the input three-phase AC through a three-phase full-bridge rectifier circuit to obtain DC, then uses a three-phase sinusoidal PWM voltage-type inverter to drive the three-phase permanent magnet synchronous servo motor. The entire process follows an AC-DC-AC conversion architecture.
Installation Requirements:
- Install within a properly ventilated control cabinet
- Ensure correct wiring according to electrical diagrams
- Verify 24V supply, 5V supply, and ground connections
- Use appropriate cable sizes and shielding
Usage Precautions:
- Common fault F12 indicates motor phase misalignment (cable break or similar fault); check motor cable connections
- Overcurrent faults are typically caused by circuit faults or mechanical load issues; verify circuit connections and load conditions
- Check for parameter errors, display issues, speed instability, and output voltage problems during commissioning
- Monitor motor current to ensure it stays within rated limits
- Verify encoder feedback connections and signal integrity
- Use genuine Kollmorgen configuration software for parameter adjustments
