Komatsu AIH-123QS-PP-UC

Product Introduction AIH-123QS-PP-UC is an industrial pressure sensor manufactured by Komatsu of Japan, from the ceramic piezoresistive pressure transmitter family. The sensor converts measured medium pressure into a 4 to 20 mA standard electrical signal using a ceramic sensing element that resists corrosion and overload. It uses a universal threaded process connection for hydraulic, pneumatic, and water treatment pressure measurement in Komatsu construction machinery and industrial automation.

Application Scenarios

  • Komatsu construction machinery hydraulic pressure monitoring
  • Industrial hydraulic station pressure measurement
  • Water treatment network pressure monitoring
  • Pneumatic system pressure detection
  • General industrial process pressure transmission

Materials and Construction

  • Process connection: 316L stainless steel
  • Sensing diaphragm: Alumina ceramic
  • Housing: Stainless steel
  • Electronics: FR4 PCB
  • Cable/connector: Industrial waterproof connector
  • Seal: FKM O-ring

Structural Features

  • Cylindrical stainless steel housing with front process thread
  • Ceramic diaphragm at front pressure port
  • Rear electrical cable or connector output
  • Internal bridge and amplifier integrated
  • Direct thread screw-in to process pipe
  • Compact for narrow mounting spaces

Working Principle Process pressure acts on the ceramic diaphragm, which deforms slightly; diffused piezoresistive strain gauges on the diaphragm form a Wheatstone bridge whose output voltage changes with pressure. The amplifier converts the mV signal to a 4 to 20 mA current sent to a secondary instrument or PLC. DC10 to 30 V supply shares the two wires.

Installation Requirements

  • Wrap seal tape on process thread and screw into pipe
  • Mount away from vibration and heat radiation
  • Tighten waterproof cable gland for IP65
  • Stable DC24 V supply
  • Shield signal wires away from power cables
  • Cabinet temperature -20 °C to +80 °C
  • Calibrate zero and span after power-up

Precautions

  • Measured medium must not corrode 316L or ceramic
  • Do not exceed range
  • Correct wiring polarity
  • Install isolation valve for hydraulic maintenance
  • Store spares in dry environment
  • Periodically calibrate pressure zero
