Material Composition Cast aluminum alloy enclosure; nickel-plated brass screw terminal blocks; multi-layer signal PCB; surge suppression components; silicone sealing gasket; stainless steel mounting hardware; cable glands made of nickel-plated brass.
Structural Characteristics Rectangular metal sealed enclosure; external stainless steel mounting lugs; multiple cable glands on box wall for cable entry; internal terminal rail for power and signal terminals; sealed cover with gasket to achieve IP66 rating; internal separate wiring compartments for power circuit and communication signal circuit.
Working Principle Ship power supply enters MRU-E-JB3 junction box. Power distributes through internal terminal block to MRU-E sensor head. Motion attitude signal from MRU-E sensor transmits through junction box terminals and surge protection components to vessel DP control system. Built-in surge protection absorbs voltage spike induced by marine lightning or electromagnetic interference to protect MRU-E sensor and control equipment.
Installation Requirements Mount junction box firmly on ship cabinet or bulkhead surface. Use marine shielded cables for wiring. Tighten cable glands completely to maintain IP66 sealing. Separate power cable and communication signal cable routing. Complete protective earthing of metal enclosure. Test signal communication and power circuit after installation.
Usage Notes Inspect sealing gasket and cable gland tightness periodically in marine salt spray environment. Keep enclosure cover closed tightly during vessel operation. Check terminal block corrosion condition regularly. Do not open enclosure during thunderstorm at sea.
