Technical Specifications Power supply input 95–240 V AC; 20 DC digital inputs supporting NPN/PNP sensor signals; 16 NPN DC digital outputs; maximum expandable total I/O count up to 100 points; two serial communication ports: RS232C and combined RS232C/RS422/485; instruction set includes 220 commands with floating-point arithmetic; 8 auto-tuning PID control loops; battery-backed real-time clock and calendar; removable screw terminal blocks; operating temperature 0 ℃ to +60 ℃; DIN rail mounting.
Functional Features Ladder logic programming via DirectSOFT software; high-speed counter and pulse output capability; PID auto-tuning for temperature and pressure control; Modbus RTU and DirectNET communication protocols; non-volatile memory retains program and data after power loss; built-in self-diagnosis for power, memory and I/O faults.
Application Scenarios Small packaging machinery, conveyor sorting stations, water treatment skid control, greenhouse environmental control, small test fixture automation.
Material Composition Flame-retardant ABS plastic housing; FR4 multilayer main PCB; switching power supply components; optocoupler isolation chips for digital inputs and outputs; lithium backup battery for real-time clock; removable plastic terminal blocks.
Structural Characteristics Compact rectangular DIN rail unit; front panel contains status LEDs, programming port and expansion slot cover; top and bottom removable terminal blocks for power, digital input and digital output wiring; side expansion connectors for additional I/O modules.
Working Principle After power-up, the PLC loads user ladder program from non-volatile memory. It executes cyclic scan sequence: read digital input states, run logic and PID calculations, update digital output states, and service serial communication requests. High-speed counter hardware operates independent of main scan cycle to capture fast pulse signals.
Installation Requirements Clip onto standard DIN rail inside control cabinet; separate input sensor wiring from output load wiring; use shielded twisted pair for RS485 communication lines; install surge protection on AC power supply.
Operation Notes Back up ladder program before PLC replacement; replace clock battery before expiry to preserve time data; confirm output load voltage matches NPN output rating.
