Working Principle Three-phase AC is rectified to DC; IGBTs invert to variable voltage/frequency to drive the crane motor. The vector control algorithm computes torque from load current; hoisting provides 200 % starting torque. The anti-sway algorithm corrects the speed curve based on position deviation. The braking unit dissipates lowering energy. Brake timing links to motor torque to prevent hook slip.

Installation Requirements

  • Vertical cabinet mount, top/bottom ventilation
  • Shielded motor power cable
  • Size braking resistor per manual
  • Clean ventilated cabinet
  • Temperature -10 °C to +40 °C
  • Run motor auto-tuning in crane software after power-up
  • Reliable grounding

Precautions

  • Wait for capacitor discharge after power-off before wiring
  • Brake timing commissioning by qualified personnel
  • Do not short braking resistor
  • Motor parameter auto-tuning must be performed
  • Periodically inspect cooling fan
  • Store spares in dry environment
