METSO A413222

Product Introduction: This is an I/O module for Metso DNA DCS control system. It converts digital control commands sent by DCS controller into standard analog output signals, and transmits the signals to field control actuators such as valve positioners. It undertakes continuous regulation tasks for process parameters including pressure, flow, temperature and liquid level. It is the core hardware for closed-loop regulation control in DCS system.

Structural Features: Rack plug-in modular structure; front panel equipped with LED indicators for power, running and channel fault status; rear gold-plated edge connector connects to DCS rack backplane bus; internal circuit separates analog output loop and system logic circuit physically; panel fitted with mechanical locking buckle to prevent loosening caused by equipment vibration.

Working Principle: DCS controller sends digital control commands to A413222 module through backplane bus. The internal D/A chip converts digital value into 4-20mA analog current signal. The analog signal passes through protection circuit and is transmitted to field valve positioner via matching terminal base. The module continuously monitors the status of each output loop. It identifies loop short circuit, open circuit and overload fault, lights up corresponding fault indicator and uploads alarm message to upper DCS system.

Installation Requirements: Install in designated slot of Metso DNA I/O rack, matched with original terminal base. Use twisted shielded cable for analog signal wiring. The shield layer of cable adopts single-point grounding. Signal cables and power cables are laid in separate trunking. Cabinet protective grounding terminal must be connected reliably. Reserve enough ventilation space around module for heat dissipation.

Precautions for Use: Verify signal polarity strictly before wiring. Cut off backplane power supply before disassembling or assembling module. Wear anti-static wristband during operation. Do not access high voltage signal to analog output channel. Check tightness of wiring terminals regularly. Keep cabinet internal humidity within 20%~80% without condensation.
