Working Principle: DCS controller sends on-off control commands to A413240A module through backplane bus. The internal transistor circuit turns on or off corresponding output channel. 24VDC drive signal is sent to field solenoid valve through supporting terminal base. The module monitors output loop status in real time. It triggers protection action under short-circuit condition and uploads fault alarm to DCS system.
Installation Requirements: Install in designated slot of Metso DNA I/O rack and match with original terminal base. Drive signal cables use shielded wires. Signal cables and power cables are laid in separate trunking. Cabinet protective grounding terminal must be connected reliably. Reserve ventilation space for heat dissipation.
Precautions for Use: Check load parameters strictly before connecting field load. Cut off backplane power and field load power before module disassembly. Wear anti-static wristband during operation. Do not overload output channel. Check wiring terminal tightness regularly. Prevent dust accumulation on module surface.
