Functional Features: Multi‑protocol conversion and data forwarding; real‑time bidirectional data exchange between DCS and external devices; communication link fault diagnosis; data filtering and rate limiting function; upload communication‑abnormality alarm to DCS host; support remote parameter configuration.
Application Scenarios: Pulp and paper mill DCS interconnection with on‑site auxiliary PLC equipment; thermal power plant DCS connecting with third‑party monitoring instrument; chemical plant multi‑system interworking cabinet; industrial site data uploading to upper‑level production management platform.
Performance Parameters: Stable data forwarding performance; high communication data‑processing efficiency; strong anti‑interference capability for communication link; comply with industrial EMC standards; adapt to 7×24 hours long‑term continuous operation.
Material Composition: Fiberglass epoxy multilayer printed circuit board; industrial communication processing chip; signal surge‑suppression components; gold‑plated backplane edge connector; metal front baffle; circuit‑board surface coated with three‑proof conformal coating.
Structural Features: Standard rack plug‑in card‑type structure; front panel equipped with LED indicator group for power supply, running and each communication channel status; rear gold‑plated connector connects to rack backplane bus; communication signal circuit and system logic circuit are physically isolated; mechanical locking buckle on front panel prevents vibration‑caused loosening.
Working Principle: D201126 receives data packets sent by external third‑party equipment through communication interface. Internal chip completes protocol parsing and conversion, converts external protocol data into Metso XD bus data format and transmits to DPU controller via backplane bus. At the same time, it receives instruction data issued by DCS controller, converts data into corresponding external protocol format and sends to target third‑party device. Module monitors communication link state continuously and triggers alarm when link failure occurs.
Installation Requirements: Insert module into specified communication dedicated slot of Damatic XD rack. Guarantee rear connector fully engaged with backplane. Communication signal cables adopt shielded cables and implement single‑point grounding. Separate communication cables from high‑power motor cables in different trunking. Cabinet protective grounding terminal connects reliably. Reserve enough ventilation space around module.
Precautions for Use: Cut off rack backplane power before plugging and removing module. Wear anti‑static wrist strap during maintenance operation. Configure communication parameters strictly according to on‑site device protocol specifications. Inspect communication cable connection status periodically. Prevent dust accumulation on module surface. Avoid cabinet internal condensation.
