Structural Characteristics Integrated pneumatic pilot relay assembly with inlet port, output port and exhaust port. Internal precision spool slides inside anodized aluminium valve body. Stainless steel filter is installed at air inlet port. Fluorosilicone elastomer seals prevent air leakage. The whole assembly is fixed inside positioner pneumatic chamber with mounting screws.
Working Principle Instrument air enters A413152 through inlet filter. The electronic pilot signal from main control board changes spool position. When valve opening needs increase, spool connects supply air port to actuator chamber to fill air. When valve opening needs decrease, spool connects actuator chamber to exhaust port to release air. Spool maintains balanced position once target stroke is reached. The relay continuously adjusts air flow to eliminate position deviation between actual valve travel and setpoint.
Installation Requirements
- Disassemble ND9000 positioner pneumatic compartment cover.
- Remove old relay assembly and install A413152 on internal mounting base.
- Align air inlet, output and exhaust ports and tighten mounting screws evenly.
- Install sealing gasket between relay and positioner body.
- Complete positioner auto-calibration after assembly.
- Check air leakage at all connection ports after applying supply air.
Usage Precautions
- Use only filtered dry non-lubricated instrument air. Oil or particle contamination causes spool sticking.
- Check air filter regularly and clean or replace when clogged.
- Tighten port screws with specified torque. Over torque deforms sealing gasket and causes air leak.
- Do not disassemble internal spool structure on site. Precision internal parts require factory calibration.
- Replace whole assembly when air leakage or slow response occurs.
- Isolate instrument air supply before removing relay assembly.
