METSO IOP303

Product Introduction: IOP303 is a high-density digital input card designed for Metso MaxPAC DCS system. It receives 24VDC discrete signals from field switches, auxiliary relays and valve limit switches. It converts contact status into digital data and uploads to DPU controller, applied to large quantity of switch point collection in industrial control cabinets.

Performance Parameters: Signal response time less than 1ms; stable signal acquisition under long-distance wiring; fully comply with industrial EMC anti-interference standards; support 7×24 hours uninterrupted continuous operation.

Material Composition: Glass fiber epoxy multilayer PCB circuit board; photoelectric isolation chips; gold-plated edge connector; metal front panel; circuit board coated with three-proof protective coating.

Structural Features: Rack plug-in modular structure; front panel equipped with LED indicators for power, running and channel fault status; rear gold-plated edge connector connects to MaxPAC rack backplane bus; internal circuit adopts group isolation design; panel fitted with mechanical locking buckle.

Working Principle: Field 24VDC discrete signals are sent to IOP303 module through matched terminal base. The isolation circuit separates field side and control system side electrically. The module identifies the on-off state of each channel and converts to digital logic value. Data is uploaded to DPU controller through backplane bus. The module detects loop abnormal state and uploads alarm.

Installation Requirements: Install in designated slot of MaxPAC I/O rack and match with original terminal base. Use shielded twisted cable for signal wiring. Separate signal cables and power cables in different wire trunking. Ensure cabinet protective grounding is reliable. Reserve sufficient heat dissipation space around the module.

Precautions for Use: Verify input voltage before power supply. Cut off field loop power during wiring operation. High voltage signal cannot be connected to input channels. Cut off rack power before removing the module. Wear anti-static wristband when touching circuit board. Check wiring terminals regularly.
