Working Principle PLC CPU sends motion program and parameter data to TJ1-MC16 unit through backplane bus. The onboard motion processor parses motion instructions and calculates target position command for each axis in real time. Command signals are transmitted to servo drives. Encoder feedback signals return for closed-loop position control. Digital input channels capture home and limit signals. When motion error exceeds threshold, the unit triggers motion alarm and stops axis movement.
Installation Requirements Install module in Omron TJ PLC rack and lock latch; Use shielded cable for servo encoder and command wiring; Separate motion signal cables from power cables; Maintain ventilation space around rack; Reliable cabinet protective earth.
Precautions for Use Implement anti-static protection before touching module; Backup motion cam tables and parameters regularly; Do not exceed maximum axis speed and acceleration setting; Check limit switch wiring before commissioning; Stop all axes before modifying motion program.
