Structural Characteristics
- Compact rectangular metal housing with fixed mounting flange.
- Two orthogonal galvanometer motors carry XY mirrors inside sealed cavity.
- Optical window allows laser beam entering and exiting the scanner.
- Internal temperature sensor attached to motor coil assembly.
- Electrical connector on housing side receives control command and feedback signal.
- Sealed structure prevents dust contamination of optical mirrors.
Working Principle Laser beam passes through optical window and hits XY mirrors mounted on galvanometer rotors. The motion controller outputs analog or digital command signal to drive galvanometer coils. Electromagnetic torque rotates mirrors to designated angle. Digital encoder measures actual mirror angle and feeds back to controller. Closed loop control continuously corrects mirror position to match target coordinate. The deflected laser beam scans across working field to complete laser marking or micro machining.
Installation Requirements
- Mount scanner rigidly to laser machine frame via mounting flange.
- Align laser beam optical axis to scanner center precisely.
- Use shielded cable for scanner control and feedback wiring.
- Separate scanner signal cable from high power laser power supply cable.
- Install matched f-theta lens according to optical design.
- Perform optical calibration and field distortion correction after installation.
- Test scanner dynamic response and marking repeatability before production.
Usage Notes
- Do not expose optical window and mirror surface to finger touch or contamination.
- Keep scanner housing temperature within rated operating range.
- Do not exceed maximum laser power rating for 405nm wavelength.
- Protect scanner from mechanical impact during installation.
- Disconnect power before opening scanner housing.
- Replace scanner immediately when mirror damage or permanent positioning drift occurs.
