Structural Characteristics: Cylindrical motor body Front SB1 mounting flange Smooth solid output shaft Rear integrated encoder and brake module KY combined quick connector integrating power and encoder signal lines Embedded winding temperature sensor
Working Principle: Three‑phase sinusoidal current from servo inverter flows into stator winding. Alternating magnetic field interacts with rotor permanent magnet and generates electromagnetic torque to drive motor rotation. AK0H absolute encoder captures absolute rotor position value and sends feedback data to servo drive at power on. Holding brake engages when brake coil de‑energized to lock shaft and maintain load position. Temperature sensor continuously monitors stator winding temperature to prevent overheating damage.
Installation Requirements: Fasten motor flange rigidly to machine frame Maintain good coaxial alignment between motor shaft and driven load to reduce bearing stress Install in environment without continuous water jet, heavy dust or corrosive gas Use SEW designated shielded cables for power and encoder signal Fully lock KY quick connector
Precautions for Use: Prevent heavy mechanical impact to shaft and encoder housing during handling Confirm brake release function before commissioning Continuous operation at peak overload torque is forbidden Keep sealing components intact to maintain IP65 rating Encoder and brake disassembly requires professional maintenance
