Siemens MSI-20B 500-893081

Product Introduction Siemens MSI-20B is intelligent addressable manual fire alarm initiating device, compatible with Siemens MXL, IXL and XL3 fire alarm control panels. It adopts dual-action mechanical design to prevent accidental false activation. When fire emergency occurs, operator triggers the station manually to send addressable alarm signal to fire control panel, and transmits two-way diagnostic information for system fault monitoring.

Siemens MSI-20B 500-893081

Technical Specifications Addressable fire alarm manual pull station; dual-action activation mechanism; communication loop powered; built-in address identification chip; compatible with Siemens MXL / IXL / XL3 fire control panels; enclosure dimension 152.4 × 127 × 177.8 mm; IP30 protection rating.

Functional Features Dual-action operation reduces unintended false triggering; intelligent addressable communication transmits unique device address to fire panel; two-way communication supports remote device fault diagnosis; built-in hardware self-test function; reset requires opening locked enclosure cover; visual indicator shows alarm status.

Application Scenarios Commercial building fire alarm system; hospital, school and office building fire safety system; factory workshop fire protection system; hotel and shopping mall fire detection network.

Performance Parameters Operating ambient temperature 0℃ to +49℃; storage temperature -40℃ to +85℃; relative humidity 10% to 95%, no condensation; meets NFPA and UL fire alarm equipment standards.

Material Composition High impact flame-retardant plastic enclosure; metal mechanical pull lever; internal addressable electronic PCB; spring reset mechanism; metal locking screw assembly; transparent protective cover for operation lever.

Structural Characteristics Rectangular wall-mounted enclosure; front cover with pull lever and status indicator window; internal mechanical dual-stage trigger structure; lockable hinged cover for reset operation; rear wiring terminal compartment for fire loop cable connection.

Working Principle MSI-20B connects to fire alarm signal loop powered by fire control panel. Under normal standby state, the device communicates periodically with fire panel to report health status. When emergency happens, operator pushes the auxiliary latch then pulls down lever to trigger internal contact switch. The addressable circuit sends alarm signal with unique device address back to fire panel. After activation, maintenance personnel unlock and open enclosure cover to reset the mechanical lever.

Installation Requirements Mount pull station vertically on interior wall surface at standard height specified by fire code. Connect fire signal loop wiring to rear terminal block. Set unique device address with FPI-32 programming tester. Lock enclosure cover after installation. Test manual alarm trigger and reset function.

Usage Notes Do not apply external impact or mechanical force on pull lever in daily operation. Inspect enclosure lock and lever mechanical condition periodically. Keep device surface clean, avoid paint coating covering operation lever. Perform functional test in fire system maintenance cycle.
