- Separated terminal blocks for main power, motor, encoder and VARAN bus
- Optimized internal heat sink structure for medium power operation
Working Principle: VARAN bus transmits motion setpoint from main CPU to DKL032. The module reads encoder feedback signal and calculates position error. Internal control algorithm adjusts PWM duty cycle to control motor torque and speed. Safety STO circuit directly cuts power stage when safety signal triggers. All operation data and fault information upload to controller via VARAN bus.
Installation Requirements:
- Install on standard DIN rail in control cabinet
- Leave clearance for heat dissipation
- Use shielded cable for encoder and VARAN bus
- Route motor power cable away from low voltage signal lines
- Follow SIGMATEK VARAN bus terminal termination rules
Usage Notes:
- Match motor rated current and voltage before commissioning
- Test STO safety circuit before machine operation
- Keep cabinet clean to avoid dust accumulation on heat sink
- Back up axis parameters after tuning
- Cut off power before opening module cover
