Working Principle: The module receives motion commands from SIGMATEK main CPU through VARAN bus. It continuously collects encoder feedback signals and executes PID control algorithm. PWM signal drives IGBT power stage to adjust motor current and realize precise motion control. STO safety circuit directly disables power output when safety condition triggers. Operating data and fault events upload to upper controller via VARAN bus.
Installation Requirements:
- Mount on standard DIN rail inside ventilated electrical cabinet
- Reserve enough space for heat dissipation
- Use shielded cables for encoder and VARAN bus wiring
- Separate high-current motor cable from low voltage signal wiring
- Implement reliable protective grounding
Usage Notes:
- Confirm motor rated current and voltage before power-on
- Perform STO safety function test before machine commissioning
- Regularly inspect heat sink for dust buildup
- Save parameter backup after axis tuning
- Disconnect power supply before any wiring change
