TMEICA ARND-3620

Technical Specifications Multi galvanically isolated analog input channels; supports 4-20mA current signal input; 16-bit analog-to-digital conversion resolution; measurement accuracy reaches ±0.15% full scale; isolation withstand voltage 1500V AC between field side and rack bus side; 24V DC auxiliary power supply; operating temperature -20°C to +70°C; IP20 protection grade.

Functional Features Receive analog current signals from pressure, temperature, flow and liquid level transmitters deployed in industrial sites. Filter high-frequency noise superimposed on field signal loops. Convert conditioned analog signals into digital raw data and apply user-defined scaling formulas to generate readable engineering values. Detect open circuit and short circuit faults of each signal loop and send alarm messages to the main controller. Transmit real-time measurement data and channel diagnostic status through the rack backplane bus. Provide surge overvoltage protection for field wiring terminals.

Application Scenarios Chemical plant process parameter monitoring, boiler auxiliary system measurement, water supply pipeline flow and pressure collection, mining plant process monitoring, building energy management analog signal acquisition.

Performance Parameters Low long-term signal drift; strong suppression of power frequency electromagnetic interference; stable sampling rate for continuous closed-loop control; rapid fault diagnosis response for damaged field signal loops.

Material Composition Main PCB uses FR-4 flame-retardant multilayer printed circuit board; analog conversion and signal conditioning chips are industrial semiconductors; optocoupler components realize channel galvanic isolation; backplane gold finger contacts use gold-plated copper alloy; module housing is flame-retardant thermoplastic resin; terminal spring pieces adopt nickel-plated copper alloy.

Structural Characteristics Vertical plug-in rack module compatible with TMEICA standard control racks. Front panel carries LED indicators for power, communication and channel fault status. Rear gold finger connector connects to rack backplane for power supply and bus data transmission. Front screw terminal blocks are reserved for field transmitter wiring. Side buckle locks the module firmly in the rack slot.

Working Principle Field 4-20mA analog signals enter channel signal conditioning and isolation circuits. After filtering and voltage conversion, processed signals are delivered to analog-to-digital converters to generate digital raw values. The onboard processor converts raw digital data into engineering values according to preset scaling parameters, and uploads measurement results and fault status to the main logic module over the backplane bus.

Installation Requirements Cut off rack power before module installation or replacement. Insert the module into the specified rack slot and lock the side buckle. Use shielded twisted-pair cables to connect field transmitters to module terminals. Set signal range and scaling parameters in supporting engineering software. Conduct loop signal test and channel calibration after power is restored.

Precautions for Use Adopt single-point grounding mode for cable shielding layers. Avoid laying analog signal cables in parallel with high-current power cables. Do not apply voltage exceeding rated isolation value to field terminals. Back up system configuration data before module replacement.
