Performance Parameters Temperature measurement precision meets industrial process requirement; Cold junction compensation error stays within fixed range; Wire break detection response speed is fast; Digital filter suppresses electromagnetic interference; Data refresh cycle of all 8 channels remains stable.
Material Composition Flame-retardant plastic module housing; Multi-layer glass fiber PCB; High precision signal conditioning chip; Analog to digital conversion IC; Bus communication processor; Screw terminal blocks for sensor wiring; LED indicator lights; Conformal coating for circuit board.
Structural Features DIN rail snap-on compact module; Front panel screw terminals for sensor input wiring; LED indicators aligned to each channel; Internal isolation barrier between different channel groups; Back side DIN rail locking tab.
Working Principle Thermocouple or RTD sensor connects to module input terminals. Weak temperature related analog signal enters signal conditioning circuit. For thermocouple inputs, onboard circuit performs cold junction compensation. Analog signal converts to digital value by ADC chip. Processor converts raw digital value into engineering temperature unit. Temperature data and channel diagnostic status are packaged and transmitted to host controller over bus. If sensor wire breaks, module triggers fault signal and LED alarm.
Installation Requirements Mount module vertically on standard DIN rail; Use dedicated compensation cable for thermocouple wiring; Shielded cable for RTD sensor connection; Separate temperature signal cables from power cables; Cabinet protective earth connection required.
Precautions for Use Set correct sensor type parameter for each channel before commissioning; Avoid placing module near heat sources; Do not exceed maximum sensor input voltage; Periodically verify measurement reading with reference temperature instrument; Check sensor cable insulation integrity regularly.
