Structural Characteristics
- Vertical DIN rail mount rectangular housing.
- Front panel carries two RJ45 ports, LED indicators and power terminal block.
- Internal circuit layout separates WAN and LAN signal paths.
- Passive convection cooling without fan.
- Metal housing provides electromagnetic shielding.
Working Principle After power on, router boots embedded firmware and loads configured firewall and NAT rules. Data packets entering WAN port pass through stateful inspection firewall. Allowed packets undergo NAT address translation and forward to LAN subnet. Return traffic from LAN devices translates source address and transmits to WAN side. Static routing table determines forwarding path for cross-subnet packets. Watchdog circuit monitors system operation state and triggers reboot when firmware hangs.
Installation Requirements
- Mount router on standard 35 mm DIN rail inside control cabinet.
- Use shielded gigabit Ethernet cable for LAN and WAN connections.
- Separate signal wiring from high power motor cables.
- Connect 24 V DC power and protective earth wire.
- Configure firewall rules, NAT mapping and IP address before commissioning.
- Test traffic forwarding and access control function after configuration.
- Verify network isolation effect between two subnets.
Usage Notes
- Do not connect unfiltered public internet directly to LAN side without proper firewall rule configuration.
- Keep cabinet environment dry and free of conductive dust.
- Backup configuration file before firmware update.
- Disconnect DC power before modifying wiring.
- Use anti-static wristband when handling spare unit.
- Replace router immediately when permanent routing or firewall hardware fault occurs.
