Working Principle
The module monitors dual MPU signals, voting for the valid speed value. It compares this to the setpoint and adjusts the actuator output. If speed exceeds the trip limit, it de-energizes the safety relay and actuator output immediately.
Installation Requirements
- Wire redundant MPU sensors from opposite ends of the gear train.
- Connect safety relay contacts in series with the engine fuel shutoff.
- Provide clean, regulated power with adequate surge protection.
Usage Precautions
- Always verify overspeed trip function mechanically or electronically before putting into service.
