Woodward 9907-151

Product Introduction
The Woodward 9907-151 is a precision pressure transducer used to measure critical fluid pressures such as lube oil, fuel supply, or hydraulic actuator pressure. It converts physical pressure into an electrical signal for the control system.

Description

Woodward 9907-151

Technical Specifications

  • Measurement Type: Gauge or Absolute Pressure.
  • Output: 4-20 mA or 0-5 VDC.
  • Pressure Range: Specific range (e.g., 0-100 PSI, 0-3000 PSI).
  • Accuracy: ±0.25% to ±0.5% BFSL.

Functional Features

  • High Stability: Minimal drift over temperature and time.
  • Vibration Resistance: Solid-state construction withstands turbine vibration.
  • Fast Response: Millisecond response time for dynamic pressure events.
  • EMI Immunity: Shielded electronics prevent false readings.

Application Scenarios
Lube oil pressure monitoring, fuel manifold pressure, hydraulic accumulator pressure, and compressor discharge pressure.

Performance Parameters

  • Overpressure: 2x full scale without damage.
  • Temperature Compensation: -40°C to +85°C.

Material Composition
316L Stainless Steel wetted parts. Hermetically sealed sensing element. Polyurethane or PVC cable jacket.

Structural Characteristics
Compact cylindrical body with a 1/4″ NPT or G1/4 process connection. Integral cable or DIN connector.

Working Principle
A strain gauge or piezoresistive element deforms under pressure, changing its electrical resistance. A Wheatstone bridge circuit converts this change into a proportional voltage/current.

Installation Requirements
Use Teflon tape or sealant on threads (avoid blocking the port). Orient the sensor to prevent fluid trapping. Route cable away from VFDs.

Usage Precautions

  • Do not exceed the burst pressure.
  • Avoid water hammer or pressure spikes during startup.
  • Calibrate periodically using a deadweight tester.
