Performance Parameters
- Measurement Accuracy: Class I accuracy for True RMS voltage.
- Linear Measurement Range: 1.3 × Rated Voltage.
- Operating Temperature: -20°C to 70°C (for N, XN, and NYB packages).
Material Composition
Features a ruggedized metal and high-impact plastic casing with gold-plated connector contacts to ensure reliable signal transmission over the product’s lifespan.
Structural Characteristics
- Display: Two-line bright LCD for clear readability in low-light control rooms.
- Connections: Standardized terminal blocks for field wiring and backplane connectors for system integration.
Working Principle
The synchronizer measures the voltage and frequency difference between the incoming generator and the running bus. It generates raise/lower commands to the governor and AVR, continuously minimizing the slip until the optimal phase angle is reached for breaker closure.
Installation Requirements
Install in a location protected from excessive vibration and direct sunlight. Ensure all analog signal cables are shielded and properly grounded to prevent noise interference.
Precautions for Use
When returning equipment for repair, always obtain a Return Authorization Number (RAN) from Woodward in advance and include a detailed problem description.
