Working Principle:
The module receives 24 V DC power from the system backplane. When a dry contact connected to an input channel closes, it completes a circuit to the common return. Internal optocouplers isolate the field signal from the internal logic, converting the physical switch state into a digital binary signal. This data is continuously scanned and transmitted to the central CPU via the backplane bus for logic processing.
Installation Requirements:
