- Installation Tolerance: Allows vertical or horizontal installation with a tilt angle not exceeding ±30 degrees.
Material Composition & Structural Characteristics:
- Housing: Cover and frame are made of high-strength, arc-resistant plastic.
- Base: Constructed from glass fiber-reinforced plastic for excellent dielectric properties and mechanical strength.
- Contacts: Silver alloy material for superior conductivity and anti-welding performance.
- Core: E-shaped iron core design for compact size and efficient magnetic flux.
Working Principle:
When the 110-120V AC control coil is energized, it generates an electromagnetic field that pulls the movable iron core downward. This mechanical action closes the main power contacts (1L1, 3L2, 5L3 to 2T1, 4T2, 6T3) and the auxiliary NO contact (13-14), allowing current to flow to the load. When de-energized, the spring returns the core, opening the contacts and breaking the circuit.
Installation Requirements:
- Wiring: Connect main power to L1, L2, L3 and output to T1, T2, T3. Coil connects to A1 and A2.
- Environment: Install at altitudes below 2000m with relative humidity not exceeding 50% at +40°C.
- Clearance: Maintain adequate spacing around the contactor for heat dissipation.
Usage Precautions:
- Coil Voltage: Strictly verify the “-84” coil voltage matches the control circuit to prevent coil burnout.
- Torque: Tighten terminal screws to the specified torque to prevent overheating and arcing.
- Protection: Always pair with a thermal overload relay and short-circuit protective devices (fuses/circuit breakers).
