- Material & Structure / Working Principle / Installation / Precautions:
- NAMC-01 is part of RDCU — if faulty, ABB recommends swapping entire RDCU (control unit) to avoid EEPROM/firmware mismatch
- Firmware must be reloaded / matched to power stack after RDCU replacement — use DriveWindow / USB stick
- Precaution: Only trained service personnel should handle — control unit contains ESD-sensitive components and stores safety-critical parameters. After replacement, perform motor ID run and verify all I/O & fieldbus mappings before returning to auto mode.
