Material Composition & Structural Characteristics:

  • Design: Ruggedized industrial PCB with conformal coating.
  • Connectors: High-density connectors for interfacing with the NTHS03 termination unit and associated cabling.
  • Mounting: Standard Symphony/INFI 90 plug-in card format.

Working Principle:
The controller sends a position or velocity setpoint to the SPHSS13. The module generates the corresponding drive signal for the servo valve while simultaneously reading the LVDT or potentiometer feedback from the hydraulic cylinder. It continuously adjusts the output to minimize the error between the setpoint and actual position.

Installation Requirements:

  • Connect to the appropriate hydraulic servo termination unit (e.g., NTHS03).
  • Use high-quality, shielded feedback cables to prevent noise injection into the control loop.
  • Ensure proper grounding of the hydraulic actuator and valve body.

Usage Precautions:

  • Verify the servo valve coil resistance and current ratings before applying power.
  • Perform closed-loop tuning carefully to prevent hydraulic instability or oscillation.
