Description
AMETEK DCPF1-120-15-01
Technical Specifications Input 120 V AC 50/60 Hz; rated output 15 V DC; digital voltage and current programming; built-in output measurement readback; overvoltage, overcurrent and overtemperature protection; analogue and digital remote control interfaces; rack-mountable form factor; operating temperature 0 °C to +50 °C.
Functional Features Precision regulated DC output; remote programming via communication or analogue control signals; output voltage and current measurement reporting; configurable protection threshold values; front panel local adjustment and status display; remote enable/disable control.
Application Scenarios Instrument calibration laboratories, industrial component endurance testing, aerospace component bench testing, factory automated test stations.
Material Composition Steel rack-mount chassis; aluminium heat sink for power semiconductors; FR4 control and power PCBs; high-precision voltage and current sensing resistors; cooling fan; insulated power terminal blocks.
Structural Characteristics Standard instrument rack chassis; front panel with display, adjustment knobs and status indicators; rear panel for AC input, DC output and remote control connectors; forced convection cooling path through internal heat sink.
Working Principle AC mains input is rectified and filtered before entering the switching power regulation stage. Digital control circuits compare measured output voltage and current against programmed setpoints and adjust pulse width to maintain stable output. Protection circuits shut down power output once operating limits are exceeded.
Installation Requirements Install the unit inside ventilated instrument rack; connect protective earth terminal to rack ground bar; use correct wire gauge for DC output terminals; configure remote control mode before connecting automation test systems.
Operation Notes Do not operate the unit with blocked air intake vents; confirm load impedance before setting output current limit; disable output before connecting or disconnecting test specimens; calibrate voltage and current readback at regular intervals.
