Working Principle: The controller synchronously samples three-phase voltage and current signals of generator. The microprocessor runs advanced control algorithm to calculate excitation demand. PWM power unit adjusts exciter field current continuously to stabilize generator terminal voltage. All limit protection functions run in real time through software. It supports data transmission to SCADA and remote parameter modification via communication ports.
Installation Requirements:
- Install inside ventilated power control cabinet, away from high temperature and strong magnetic field
- Reserve upper and lower space for heat dissipation
- Use shielded twisted pair cables for PT and CT signal wiring
- Separate low voltage signal wiring from high-power cables
- Implement reliable protective grounding following power station standards
Usage Notes:
- Input generator nameplate parameters and PT/CT ratio before commissioning
- Save full parameter backup file after commissioning
- Never exceed rated continuous field output current
- Regularly inspect terminal tightness and cable shielding condition
- Disconnect all power supplies before opening enclosure for maintenance
