Functional Features Multiple generator protection functions integrated in single unit; Hardware relay trip output independent from internal processor; Fault event record with time stamp; LED indicator shows fault type directly; Adjustable protection setpoints via front panel keys; Manual test function for protection circuit check; Anti-harmonic interference design for marine power grid.
Application Scenarios Marine ship generator and emergency generator; Offshore platform small generator; Factory standby diesel generator; Construction site mobile power generator; Island micro-grid small power unit.
Performance Parameters Protection action response speed is fast; Electrical measurement precision meets generator protection standard; Event data retains after power loss; Setpoint adjustment resolution is high; Resistance to vibration and salt fog environment.
Material Composition Metal reinforced enclosure; Glass fiber PCB board; Voltage and current sampling circuit; Microprocessor; Electromagnetic relay trip element; Front panel LCD and operation keys; LED fault indicator; Circuit board three anti-coating.
Structural Features Panel embedded installation design; Front panel LCD display and operation buttons; Multi-color LED fault indicator; Rear large screw terminal block for CT, PT, trip circuit and power wiring; Sealed front panel for dust and moisture prevention.
Working Principle Current transformer and voltage transformer send generator three-phase current and voltage signal to relay sampling circuit. The internal processor calculates power, frequency and voltage value continuously. When measured value exceeds protection setting threshold, relay contact activates to output hard trip signal and cut off generator breaker. Fault type and time stamp are saved into non-volatile memory for post-fault analysis.
Installation Requirements Panel cutout mounting inside control cabinet; CT secondary wiring forbidden to open circuit; PT secondary circuit fitted with short-circuit protection; Signal cable uses shielded wire; Cabinet protective earth connection required.
Precautions for Use Modify protection setpoint when generator offline; Verify CT and PT wiring phase sequence before commissioning; Periodically perform protection trip test; In marine salt fog environment, clean terminal block regularly; Do not disconnect trip wiring while generator online.
