Working Principle: The probe coil generates a high-frequency electromagnetic field. Eddy currents induced on the conductive shaft surface create a counter magnetic field that modifies the probe coil impedance. The impedance change is proportional to the gap distance. The Proximitor converts this into a linear voltage output for both static displacement and dynamic vibration measurement.
Installation Requirements:
- Mount in M10×1 threaded bracket with 1.7 to 2.3 N·m torque
- Ensure perpendicular alignment to the shaft surface (within 3°)
- Total system cable length must be 5.0 m or 9.0 m
- Connect to 3300 XL Proximitor via extension cable
