Bently Nevada 330103-03-10-10-02-00

Product Overview: The 330103 series is a probe component within the Bently Nevada 3300 XL 8mm eddy current sensor system, featuring an M10×1 metric thread mounting configuration with a non-armored standard cable design. This model has an unthreaded length of 30mm, an overall case length of 100mm, and a total cable length of 1.0 meter, equipped with a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector. The metric thread design makes it more suitable for equipment and installation environments that use metric standards.

Working Principle: Eddy current effect — the probe coil carries high-frequency current to generate an alternating magnetic field. The conductive target surface induces eddy currents, and the reverse magnetic field from these eddy currents alters the coil impedance. The proximitor converts this impedance change into a voltage signal proportional to the gap.

Installation Requirements:

  • The mounting hole must be machined with M10×1 internal thread
  • Probe cable + extension cable total length must equal the proximitor’s nominal system length (5-meter or 9-meter)
  • Set gap voltage to -10.0 VDC ± 0.2V
  • Apply moderate installation torque to avoid damaging the probe

Usage Precautions:

  • Confirm total system length matches the proximitor
  • Do not replace the probe while energized
  • Do not bend cables at right angles
  • Target surface must be conductive material, clean and free of oil
