Working Principle: Eddy current principle — high-frequency current through the probe coil generates an alternating magnetic field. Conductive target surfaces induce eddy currents, and the reverse magnetic field alters coil impedance. The proximitor converts this impedance change into a voltage signal proportional to the gap distance.
Installation Requirements:
- Mounting hole must be pre-machined with 1/4-28 UNF internal thread
- Total system length must match the proximitor nominal length
- Finger-tight ClickLoc connection only
- Connector protectors recommended
Usage Precautions:
- The extremely short case length requires careful alignment during installation
- Do not overtighten the ClickLoc connector
- Cable bending radius must meet minimum requirements
- Verify system electrical length matches proximitor specification
