Description
CMC16 200-530-012-012
Technical Specifications 16 independently configurable dynamic input channels; first four channels support tachometer speed input; remaining twelve channels accept process static signals; each channel contains programmable anti-aliasing filter and dedicated ADC; onboard DSP executes 3200-line FFT spectrum calculation; sampling modes support synchronous and asynchronous acquisition; communication via Ethernet and RS485; on-board waveform buffer storage; three-color front-panel LED status indicators.
Functional Features Real-time FFT spectrum and time waveform capture for bearing and gear fault diagnosis; ten configurable frequency alarm bands per measurement channel with hysteresis thresholds; scheduled logging, on-alarm waveform capture and exception event recording; orbit plot and centerline position calculation for shaft displacement; time stamp for transient machine events; upload diagnostic spectra to supervisory asset management software.
Application Scenarios Steam turbine and gas turbine train monitoring, large centrifugal compressor health tracking, generator shaft vibration measurement, critical pump and fan predictive maintenance systems.
Material Composition FR4 high-density industrial PCB; Motorola 56002 digital signal processor; Zilog Z8S180 microcontroller; gold-plated VME backplane edge connectors; surface-mount signal conditioning circuits with conformal protective coating.
Structural Characteristics VME standard card form factor for VM600 rack chassis; front panel with status LEDs and test access points; rear edge VME bus connector for rack power and data communication; multi-channel signal connectors on front panel interface external transducers.
Working Principle Vibration and displacement sensor signals pass through anti-aliasing filters and high-speed ADC conversion. The onboard DSP computes FFT spectra continuously. Measured spectrum bands are compared against configured alarm limits. Waveform snapshots are stored to local buffer when alarm thresholds are crossed. Processed diagnostic data is transmitted over Ethernet to host monitoring stations.
Installation Requirements Insert into designated VM600 VME rack slot; power down rack before card insertion and removal; use shielded coaxial cables for vibration transducer inputs; verify VME address and interrupt resource allocation to avoid bus conflict.
Operation Notes Save machine configuration and alarm band settings before firmware upgrade; perform channel calibration after card replacement; inspect coaxial connector torque in high-vibration machinery cabinets.
