Application Scenarios Marine vessel generator control, offshore platform power management, backup genset supervision for industrial plants, remote site power stations, diesel generator paralleling systems.
Performance Parameters Fast protection response for reverse power and overcurrent events. Stable measurement reading under distorted power waveforms. Event log retains records after power loss. Compliant with marine classification society requirements. Long-term continuous operation without parameter drift.
Material Composition Front panel: PC+ABS flame retardant engineering plastic with waterproof sealing gasket. Main circuit board: FR4 multilayer PCB with conformal coating for moisture and corrosion resistance. Core components: industrial grade microprocessor, precision voltage and current sampling chips, isolation optocouplers. Relay: industrial sealed power relay. Display: monochrome LCD screen with LED backlight. Housing: black rigid plastic rear enclosure.
Structural Features Panel cutout embedded structure, front panel exposed to control room, rear housing installed behind cabinet panel. Front panel equipped with LCD screen, navigation keys and status LED indicators. Rear terminal block partitions power, measurement and communication wiring terminals. Sealing gasket between front panel and cabinet cutout prevents water splash and dust ingress.
Working Principle Voltage and current transformers feed generator electrical signals to the controller sampling channels. The microprocessor calculates power, frequency and power factor continuously. When receiving start command, the controller triggers fuel actuator to start generator. It monitors breaker status and executes paralleling logic when synchronizing multiple generators. If electrical parameters cross preset thresholds, internal protection logic activates relay outputs to trip generator breaker and record fault events. All configurable parameters are saved in non-volatile memory and retained after power interruption.
Installation Requirements Cut the cabinet panel according to the dimension drawing and embed the controller into the opening, tighten fixing clips from rear side. Use shielded twisted pair cable for communication wiring, single point grounding. Separate measurement signal cables from high-power cables to avoid electromagnetic interference. Complete wiring before power-on, verify CT and VT polarity strictly. Configure generator rated parameters and protection thresholds after power supply connection.
Usage Notes Do not apply voltage exceeding rated range to measurement input terminals. Check CT wiring carefully, open circuit of current transformer secondary side creates high voltage hazard. Keep rear wiring area dry, condensation causes circuit leakage and short circuit. Wear anti-static wristband during disassembly or replacement. Download event log immediately after shutdown fault occurs for troubleshooting.
