Functional Features
- Stackable Architecture: Up to 8 units can be interconnected in a single stack, creating a virtual switch with a total capacity of up to 140.8 Gbps.
- Wire-Speed Performance: Supports wire-speed forwarding for bandwidth-intensive and latency-sensitive applications.
- Lifetime Warranty: Includes hardware replacement, firmware feature upgrades, and telephone support, reducing total cost of ownership.
- Flexible Management: Supports both in-band (Telnet, WebView, NetSight) and out-of-band (DB9 console) management.
Application Scenarios
Ideal for enterprise network core/aggregation layers, data center access layers, campus networks, and industrial automation networks requiring high bandwidth and low latency.
Performance Parameters
- Stacking Ports: Provides dedicated stacking ports supporting ring or daisy-chain topologies.
- VLAN Support: Supports up to 4096 VLANs to meet complex network segmentation requirements.
Material Composition
Features an industrial-grade reinforced enclosure. Internal PCBs use high-Tg materials, and key components are screened to accommodate wide-temperature operating environments.
Structural Characteristics
The front panel provides abundant ports and status indicator lights. Dedicated stacking connectors are located on the rear or side, supporting standard rack installation.
Working Principle
Multiple switches are logically merged into a single device via dedicated stacking cables, sharing a unified management IP and configuration. An internal non-blocking switching matrix ensures high-speed data forwarding between ports.
Installation Requirements
Stacking connections must use standard Category 5 or higher UTP cables. In a ring stacking configuration, the last switch must be connected back to the first to provide redundancy.
Usage Precautions
- Stacking cable connection sequences must strictly follow specifications to avoid unintended loops.
- Always save the current configuration before performing firmware upgrades.
- Ensure adequate cooling space in the stacking environment.
