Operating Principle
Measures the low-level millivolt signal generated by the thermocouple, applies cold junction compensation using an internal temperature sensor, and converts the value to a temperature reading transmitted over the Module Fieldbus.
Installation Requirements
Mount on a compatible 200 Series baseplate. Ensure the control cabinet is well-ventilated. Use properly shielded and grounded thermocouple extension wires to prevent noise interference.
Usage Precautions
Ensure the thermocouple type and wiring polarity are correctly defined in the system configuration. Avoid routing thermocouple cables parallel to high-voltage power lines. Always observe standard ESD precautions during handling.
