Working Principle
Acting as the fieldbus master, the FCM100E sends data requests to each FBM at preset communication cycles. FBMs respond and upload field data, which the FCM100E packages and transmits to the control processor via the system bus. It also receives downstream commands from the controller and distributes them to the corresponding FBMs.
Installation Requirements
- Must be installed in designated control station rack slots.
- Redundant communication cables must be routed independently to avoid interference.
- Ensure backplane connectors are fully inserted and locked.
Usage Precautions
- Strictly prohibited to forcefully remove the communication module while the system is running.
- Regularly inspect the connection status of redundant communication cables.
