Operating Principle
The module acts as a mechanical and electrical interface between the circuit breaker and the panelboard’s bus bars. It routes electrical current through the breaker while providing a secure, low-resistance connection point that can be mechanically locked into place.
Installation Requirements
Power must be turned OFF before installation. Loosen latch lock screws, retract rail latches, align guide fingers with panelboard notches, and tighten rail latch screws to exactly 25 in-lb. For phase balancing, reposition the bus clip and tighten screws to 27–32 in-lb.
Usage Precautions
Never work inside the equipment without verifying power is OFF. Do not remove circuit protective devices until power is isolated. Strict adherence to torque specifications is required to prevent overheating or mechanical failure.
