Performance Parameters Network frame transmission integrity remains stable; Backplane data read-write timing accurate; Communication fault detection response fast; Onboard data buffer retains data integrity during short disturbance; Circuit electromagnetic noise suppression meets DCS industrial specification.
Material Composition FR4 multi-layer flame retardant printed circuit board; Gold plated backplane edge connector; Network communication microprocessor chip; SRAM memory buffer; Signal transceiver chip; LED indicator components; Metal EMC shielding can for high-speed circuit area.
Structural Features Standard rack plug-in card form factor; Rear gold-plated edge connector mates with DCS rack backplane; Front metal panel equipped with status LED indicators and network port; Front panel locking latch to secure card inside rack slot; Internal metal shield isolates high-speed communication circuit from interference.
Working Principle After inserting into DCS rack and powering on, onboard microprocessor initializes network protocol stack. The board receives process data from DCS controller through rack backplane, encapsulates data into network frames and transmits frames to other DCS nodes over control network. It receives data packets sent from other network nodes, decapsulates frames and transfers valid process data to the controller. The board continuously monitors network signal quality and uploads fault information to DCS workstation when communication anomaly appears.
Installation Requirements Power off rack before card insertion if hot swap function is not enabled; Insert card fully into empty rack slot and lock front latch; Connect network communication cable to front panel port; Configure node network address in DCS engineering software after installation; Verify rack backplane power load capacity.
Precautions for Use Take anti-static protection before touching PCB and gold-plated connectors; Do not scratch gold contact surface; Keep network cable connector clean and dry; Back up DCS network configuration file before card replacement; Check LED communication indicators in regular system inspection.
