HONEYWELL 51191579-200

Product Introduction: This module is LCN signal repeater hardware for Honeywell TDC3000 DCS system. It amplifies and reshapes LCN network signal to extend transmission distance of LCN coaxial backbone network. It realizes signal isolation between two LCN network segments, restricts fault spreading and supports long-distance LCN network layout for large control rooms.

Technical Specifications Coaxial LCN signal input and output ports; Signal amplification and reshaping circuit; Electrical isolation between two network segments; Built-in network fault detection; Rack mount structure; Support LCN network segment isolation.

Functional Features Amplify and reshape attenuated LCN data signal; Extend maximum transmission distance of LCN coaxial trunk; Isulate two LCN network segments and prevent fault cross spreading; Monitor signal quality on input and output sides; Report network segment fault to LCN system; Maintain correct LCN data frame timing after signal regeneration.

Application Scenarios Large refinery and chemical plant TDC3000 control room; Long distance LCN backbone network; LCN network segmentation for large scale distributed control system.

Performance Parameters Operating temperature 0℃ to 60℃; Humidity 5% to 95%, non-condensing; Low signal distortion after regeneration; Surge withstand capability meets industrial control requirement.

Material Composition FR-4 printed circuit board; Coaxial metal connectors; Signal amplification chips; Surge suppression components; Flame retardant plastic housing.

Structural Features Rack mount module; Front panel fitted with input and output signal LED indicators; Two groups of coaxial ports for signal input and output; Rack fixing buckle; Anti-reverse positioning notch; Model marking printed on housing.

Working Principle Weak LCN signal from upstream coaxial cable enters repeater module. Internal circuit reshapes and amplifies the signal, restores waveform integrity and outputs regenerated signal to downstream LCN network segment. The isolation circuit separates two network segments. When one segment has cable fault, the fault cannot spread to another segment. Diagnostic circuit monitors signal status on both sides and sends fault alarm to LCN system.

Installation Requirements Install module at designated LCN network segmentation position; Fasten coaxial connectors tightly; Connect protective ground wire to cabinet ground bar; Separate LCN coaxial cable from power cable; Verify signal quality on both sides after installation.

Precautions for Use Do not exceed maximum quantity limit of repeaters on one LCN trunk; Do not connect high voltage signal to coaxial ports; Inspect coaxial cable aging regularly; Replace module when LCN signal distortion and packet loss occurs.
