Material Composition FR4 flame retardant conformal coated multilayer PCB 16-bit ADC conversion chip array High precision voltage divider and attenuation resistor network High-impedance operational amplifier array Optocoupler isolation components TVS overvoltage suppression diodes Backplane bus transceiver chip Gold plated edge connector for TDC3000 backplane Metal front panel with extraction handle and LED indicators Removable plastic terminal block for field voltage signal wiring
Structural Features Standard TDC3000 paddle card form factor. Front panel integrates removable field wiring terminal block and grouped LED indicators plus extraction handle. Rear gold plated edge connector mates with rack backplane power and control bus. Each voltage input channel adopts independent isolation and high-impedance buffer circuit. Anti-key notch prevents reverse insertion into rack slot. Locking clip secures module firmly after installation. Internal PCB layout separates high-precision analog voltage circuit and digital bus circuit to reduce noise interference. Conformal coating fully covers PCB surface to resist dust and moisture in industrial cabinet.
Working Principle Field voltage signal enters high-impedance operational amplifier buffer circuit. Attenuation network adjusts signal amplitude to match ADC input range. ADC chip converts analog voltage signal into digital value. Digital filtering circuit eliminates transient voltage fluctuation. On-board logic chip executes range conversion and scaling calculation according to configured parameters. Processed data is packaged and transmitted to TDC3000 main processor via backplane bus. Diagnostic circuit continuously monitors input voltage amplitude. If voltage exceeds upper limit or open circuit is detected, fault flag generates and alarm uploads to operator station.
Installation Requirements Wear anti-static wrist strap before inserting module into vacant rack slot. Lock extraction handle after full seating. Connect shielded twisted pair cable from field voltage signal source to corresponding channel terminals. Configure input range, scaling coefficient and filter parameter in engineering software. Power on rack and verify run LED steady on. Perform channel calibration with standard voltage signal source before commissioning. Separate analog voltage cable from high voltage power cable in wiring duct.
Usage Notes Do not apply voltage higher than 15VDC to input terminals. Keep shield wire single point grounding at marshalling cabinet side. Check terminal screw tightness periodically under vibration environment. Recalibrate each channel every 12 months. Replace module when multiple channels show consistent reading drift.
