Description
Honeywell MC-TDPR02
Technical Specifications Redundant 24VDC power input; multi-channel fused power distribution output; built-in power status monitoring circuit; dry contact fault alarm output; operating temperature 0℃ to 60℃; storage temperature -40℃ to 85℃; relative humidity 5% to 95% non-condensing; rack slot mounting; UL and CE certification.
Functional Features It receives two redundant 24VDC power sources from rack power supply modules. It distributes regulated power to each IOTA and IOM module through fused branches. It monitors input and output power voltage status continuously. It triggers dry contact alarm when one redundant power source fails or branch fuse blows. It concentrates all rack power wiring to main power terminal blocks for convenient maintenance.
Application Scenarios Power distribution base for Experion C300 Series C I/O rack; redundant power wiring junction for chemical plant DCS I/O cabinets; power monitoring termination for refinery auxiliary control rack.
Performance Parameters Redundant power switchover completes without I/O module power interruption; branch fuse acts quickly during short-circuit fault; power voltage sampling precision meets DCS power monitoring requirement.
Material Composition Base housing uses flame-retardant PC engineering plastic; internal power distribution circuit board is FR4 PCB with conformal coating; power terminal conductive parts are thick tin-plated copper alloy; fuse holders and fuses are industrial grade; backplane power bus connector pins are gold-plated.
Structural Characteristics Rack-mounted power distribution termination base; front panel with main power input terminals, branch power output terminals, fuse holders and power status LED indicators; rear integrated power bus connector to supply power to rack backplane; side elastic latches for rack rail locking.
Working Principle Two redundant 24VDC power supply lines connect to the main input terminals of MC-TDPR02. The internal power OR circuit supplies power to each fused distribution branch. Power monitoring circuit samples input voltage of both redundant paths and branch output voltage. If one input power source loses voltage, the other power path continues supplying power. When branch short circuit causes fuse blow, the monitoring circuit activates fault dry contact and sends power loss alarm to DCS system.
Installation Requirements Mount the power distribution base on the designated power slot of Experion I/O rack. Confirm redundant power polarity before wiring. Select fuse rating according to I/O rack total load. Tighten main power terminal screws to high-torque specification. Ensure cabinet reliable grounding.
Usage Notes Do not replace blown fuse with higher rated component. Cut off both redundant power inputs before modifying power wiring. Wear anti-static wrist strap during disassembly. Regularly check terminal temperature under full rack load.
