Performance Parameters Operating temperature range 0℃ to 60℃; Relative humidity 5% to 95%, non-condensing; Meet IEC industrial EMC standards for control room environment; Maintain stable 5Mbps transmission under continuous long-time running; Channel switchover completes within preset time without control loop interruption.
Material Composition FR-4 multilayer industrial printed circuit board; Gold-plated backplane edge connectors; ControlNet communication processing chips; Signal isolation transformers; Surge suppression resistors and capacitors; Flame retardant anti-static plastic front panel; Metal shielding components for communication ports.
Structural Features Standard rack plug-in card structure; Front panel equipped with LED indicators for power, channel A status, channel B status and fault alarm; Two independent communication ports mounted on front panel; Rear gold fingers connect rack backplane bus; Anti-reverse insertion positioning notch; Model and hardware revision printed clearly on card surface.
Working Principle ControlNet digital signal enters the module through twisted pair or fiber port. Internal signal conditioning circuit processes and reshapes incoming signal, then decoding chip extracts digital data frames and transmits data to rack controller. Control logic data from controller passes encoding circuit and transmits to field I/O devices through two independent communication channels. On-board diagnostic circuit samples signal strength and frame error rate of two channels continuously. When primary channel loses connection or has excessive transmission error, the module automatically switches data transmission to standby channel and sends fault alarm to DCS system.
Installation Requirements Wear anti-static wrist strap during disassembly and assembly operations; Insert the card vertically and steadily into designated rack slots, then lock fixing screws tightly; Complete cabinet protective grounding construction and verify grounding resistance qualification; Match communication cable type according to port media selection; Verify hardware version compatibility with controller firmware; Keep ControlNet communication cable separated from high-voltage power cable.
Precautions for Use Do not plug or unplug the module under power-on state; Do not connect high voltage signal to ControlNet communication ports; Regularly inspect cable connectors for corrosion and looseness; Do not exceed maximum node quantity of ControlNet network segment; Replace spare parts only after verifying complete model and hardware revision.
