Working Principle The flameproof housing contains any internal ignition event. Internal explosion flame and pressure cool down while passing through long narrow flameproof gaps between cover and housing. Flame cannot propagate outwards to ignite surrounding flammable gas atmosphere. Stainless steel material and sealing gasket block corrosive vapor, dust and liquid from entering internal electronic cavity.
Installation Requirements Use matching stainless steel fasteners for cover assembly; Tighten cover bolts to specified torque evenly; Install certified explosion-proof cable glands into threaded ports; Mount housing on rigid corrosion resistant support bracket; Verify earth connection continuity of metal housing.
