Working Principle Field switch signals feed three independent input circuits simultaneously. The 2-out-of-3 voting circuit compares the three results; if one path disagrees with the other two, the channel is marked faulty but the system continues on the majority result. Diagnosis circuits identify wire-break and short-circuit. LEDs indicate channel status.
