- Front-accessible power modules for easy maintenance
Working Principle: The power shelf distributes input power to multiple power packs operating in parallel. Load sharing ensures equal distribution across active modules. In redundant configurations, standby modules automatically assume load if an active module fails. The integrated monitoring system continuously tracks voltage, current, and temperature parameters.
Installation Requirements:
- Standard 19-inch equipment rack required
- Adequate ventilation must be provided
- Grounding connections must meet local electrical codes
- Minimum clearance of 100 mm recommended at front and rear
Usage Precautions:
- Verify power pack compatibility before installation
- Ensure proper seating of power modules in slots
- Monitor relay alarm contacts for early fault detection
- Maintain clean environment to prevent dust accumulation
- Follow derating guidelines for elevated temperature operation
