Working Principle The controller runs Metasys embedded firmware. It communicates via MS/TP bus to collect temperature, humidity and valve status from field devices. It executes preset PID and schedule control logic locally. All data, alarms and trend logs transfer over Ethernet to central BMS workstation. RTC maintains accurate time for scheduled control and time stamp of events.

Installation Requirements

  • Mount on standard 35mm DIN rail inside BMS control cabinet
  • DC24V power supply with stable output
  • Use twisted pair shielded cable for MS/TP bus
  • Ethernet cable connect to building local network switch
  • Ambient temperature 0 °C to +60 °C
  • Complete network IP address and BACnet device configuration after power up
  • Cabinet grounding

Precautions

  • Replace backup lithium battery periodically
  • Do not use in environment with high humidity and condensation
  • MS/TP bus cable must follow bus termination rules
  • Set proper network firewall for BACnet IP communication
  • Store spare controller in dry anti-static packaging
  • Backup configuration before firmware upgrade
