Description
Kollmorgen AKB335-M005
Technical Specifications Integrated power core and encoder twisted pair cores; shielded overall structure; matched connector terminals for Kollmorgen AKM motor and drive interface; rated voltage 600V; flexible cable material for dynamic cable chain application; operating temperature -20°C to +80°C; different optional lengths according to model definition.
Functional Features Transmits three-phase power to servo motor windings. Transmits differential encoder A/B/Z feedback signals from motor to servo amplifier. Provides reliable shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference of motion signals. Matches original Kollmorgen connector pin definition to guarantee signal compatibility. Resists repeated bending in drag chain applications.
Application Scenarios Automated pick and place equipment, CNC machine tools, laser processing machines, packaging automation lines, semiconductor handling equipment, robotics servo axes.
Performance Parameters Low signal attenuation for high-speed differential encoder signals; stable electrical performance after millions of bending cycles; excellent electromagnetic shielding effect; consistent impedance matching for encoder differential lines.
Material Composition Conductor adopts fine-stranded tinned copper; insulation layer uses flexible cross-linked polyolefin; shielding layer is tinned copper braid; outer sheath is wear-resistant flexible PUR material; connectors use nickel-plated metal shells and gold-plated contact pins.
Structural Characteristics Combined cable structure integrating power conductors and encoder signal pairs. Both cable ends are pre-terminated with dedicated Kollmorgen connectors. Cable outer jacket is smooth and wear-resistant for drag chain installation. Internal twisted pair layout reduces crosstalk between power and signal lines.
Working Principle Three-phase electric power passes through power conductors to drive servo motor rotation. Encoder differential signals from the motor stator pass through shielded twisted pairs back to the servo drive. The drive calculates rotor position and speed from feedback signals to form closed-loop servo control. The overall shielding layer diverts external electromagnetic noise to ground.
Installation Requirements Select cable length matching the installation distance between drive and motor. Install the cable inside cable drag chain for moving axes and reserve sufficient bending radius. Fasten connector locking screws to prevent loose contact. Ground the shielding layer at the drive end following Kollmorgen wiring specification. Test motor rotation and encoder feedback after wiring completion.
Precautions for Use Do not exceed the minimum bending radius of the cable. Avoid dragging the cable over sharp edges. Prevent oil and corrosive chemicals from contacting the outer sheath. Check connector tightness regularly for axes with frequent reciprocating motion.
