Working Principle The motor operates as a permanent magnet synchronous machine. Three-phase sinusoidal current from a servo drive creates a rotating magnetic field in the stator windings. The resolver continuously monitors rotor position, providing analog signals for electronic commutation and closed-loop speed or position control. The integrated brake applies friction torque to the rotor when de-energized, preventing load movement during power-off conditions.
