Description
Kollmorgen controller 7201‑sps
Functional Features: Multi‑axis shared DC‑bus power supply; built‑in brake chopper for regenerative energy dissipation; input phase‑loss detection function; DC‑bus over‑voltage protection; hardware over‑current and over‑temperature protection; fault signal relay output to upper‑level system.
Application Scenarios: Vintage multi‑axis servo rack systems, old‑style machine‑tool multi‑axis motion platforms, imported complete automation equipment spare‑part replacement.
Performance Parameters: I²T thermal overload protection; hardware detection for input phase loss, bus over‑voltage, bus under‑voltage and internal over‑temperature; realize energy reuse among multiple servo axes under shared‑bus working mode.
Material Composition: Metal plug‑in rack housing; high‑power rectifier bridge module; IGBT brake chopper component; high‑voltage flame‑retardant PCB circuit board; metal heat‑sink fins; gold‑plated back‑plane connector pins.
Structural Features: Eurocard standard rack plug‑in module; front‑panel status LED indicators; rear‑side gold‑plated back‑plane connector mating with system rack back‑plane; metal heat‑sink fins on side surface; convection cooling without built‑in fan.
Working Principle: Three‑phase AC power passes through high‑power rectifier bridge and outputs stable DC‑bus voltage to system rack back‑plane, supplying DC power for multiple servo amplifier modules. When motor regenerative energy raises DC‑bus voltage, internal brake chopper component turns on to release surplus energy to external regeneration resistor. Hardware circuits continuously monitor input power, bus voltage and module internal temperature, output fault alarm signal upon abnormality.
Installation Requirements: Insert fully into standard Eurocard rack slot to guarantee good contact of gold‑plated pins; maintain good ventilation inside rack cabinet; select external regeneration resistor with correct resistance and power rating; connect rack protective earth to cabinet grounding bar reliably.
Usage Notes: Live plug‑in and pull‑out of power‑supply module is strictly prohibited; DC‑bus carries high‑voltage energy after power‑off, wait for full discharge before maintenance; total load of connected servo amplifiers cannot exceed module rated power capacity; spare‑part replacement shall verify hardware revision version.
